Join Our Team as a Billing EDI Analyst III
Labcorp is looking for a remote Billing EDI Analyst III to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will manage EDI vendor relationships, ensure quality data transmission, and support our healthcare billing processes.
About the Role
This position involves working closely with EDI vendors and internal teams to improve billing data quality and efficiency. You will lead projects, conduct data analysis, and mentor other analysts to enhance our operations.
What You'll Do
- Act as the liaison with EDI vendors, testing their data quality and recommending improvements.
- Lead the EDI process for new vendor development, preparing necessary documentation and participating in kickoff calls.
- Analyze existing vendor issues and work with IT and vendors to resolve them.
- Engage with senior management to identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Implementations team to provide training and develop action plans.
- Create strategic plans with risk assessments and timelines, keeping management updated on progress.
- Coordinate resources for strategic initiatives and guide teams to meet objectives.
- Mentor and train Billing EDI Analysts and Sr. Analysts, developing training content and processes.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED.
- 5 or more years of experience in Healthcare Billing.
Nice to Have
- 2 years or more of experience with HL7 files.
- Experience in EDI healthcare billing.
- Previous mentorship or training experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
