Manager, Product Management

About the Role

We are looking for a Manager of Product Management to lead our team during a maternity leave. In this contract role, you will ensure stability and quality in our product management efforts. You will guide a team of Product Managers and engage directly with clients to maintain our high standards.

What You'll Do

• Team Leadership & People Management:
  • Provide daily leadership and support to Product Managers.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and offer feedback on performance.
  • Help team members prioritize tasks and manage expectations.
  • Assist with skill development and internal initiatives.
  • Work with senior leadership on any people-related issues.
• Delivery Excellence & Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Ensure product management aligns with Orium practices.
  • Collaborate with various teams to achieve high-quality results.
  • Act as a point of contact for delivery risks and client concerns.
  • Promote clear requirements and strong communication with stakeholders.
• Hands-On Product & Project Leadership:
  • Maintain a billability target of 60–70% through client work.
  • Support critical phases of client engagements.
  • Oversee delivery on assigned projects to ensure success.
  • Serve as a senior partner to clients with strong product insights.
• Sales & Pre-Sales Support:
  • Assist sales teams as a product management expert when needed.
  • Help shape engagement approaches and clarify roles.
  • Share insights with leadership to improve processes.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager with people management skills.
• Strong delivery leadership in consulting or client-facing roles.
• Ability to balance leadership with hands-on work.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience with digital product delivery and commerce platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern digital tools and AI solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical evaluation abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in integrating AI to enhance delivery quality and efficiency.

• Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 CAD annualized base salary.
