Join Us as a Senior Cloud Engineer

At n8n, we're looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to help us build and maintain the infrastructure that powers n8n Cloud. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our platform can grow rapidly while providing a smooth experience for our users and supporting our internal teams.

About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design, operate, and enhance the foundational infrastructure of our cloud platform. Your work will help us scale to millions of users while maintaining high performance and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Build & Operate Cloud Infrastructure: Design and manage the infrastructure for our cloud platform to ensure high availability, performance, and efficiency.
• Observability, Security & Automation: Implement monitoring and alerting systems, reduce operational workload through automation, and enhance security measures.
• Reliability (KTLO) & On-Call: Participate in on-call rotations and manage reliability tasks, addressing performance issues and critical bugs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with engineers and product managers across teams to support collaborative projects and contribute to strategic technical decisions.

What We're Looking For

• Must-haves:
  • Solid experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or DevOps, particularly in scaling complex platforms.
  • Proficiency in application development with Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to learn.
• Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience in a tech lead role with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, security, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience in a startup environment or with small, high-trust teams.
  • Familiarity with Azure.
