At 1Password, we are looking for a Staff Developer to join our Growth Team. In this role, you will help create new self-serve experiences, enhance our systems, and drive experimentation across our B2B product offerings. You'll take charge of architectural decisions and ensure smooth collaboration among teams.

About the Role

This is a remote opportunity available to candidates in Canada and the US. You will play a key role in shaping how Product Growth operates at 1Password, working with a team that values curiosity and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Shape the Product Growth operations for our enterprise offerings.
• Identify and implement platform improvements for consistent experimentation capabilities.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data leaders to ensure technical soundness in experiments.
• Establish best practices to maintain performance, reliability, security, and data integrity during experimentation.
• Mentor engineers and enhance experimentation skills across the organization.
• Influence roadmap decisions with technical insights and opportunity analysis.
• Stay hands-on with implementation work when deep architectural knowledge is needed.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
• Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms (feature flagging, A/B frameworks, event pipelines, analytics).
• Ability to design scalable instrumentation strategies with high data integrity.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across frontend, backend, and data systems.
• Proficiency in Go.
• Strong communication skills to align engineering, product, and data stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with product-led growth in a B2B SaaS organization.
• Experience designing experimentation systems in compliance or security-sensitive environments.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Looker, Qualtrics).

What We Offer

We value hard work and offer competitive compensation and benefits. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

• USA-based roles: Annual base salary between $192,000 USD and $278,000 USD, plus benefits (health, dental, 401k), paid time off, equity grant, and participation in incentive programs.
• Canada-based roles: Annual base salary between $167,000 CAD and $242,000 CAD, plus benefits (health, dental, RRSP), paid time off, equity grant, and participation in incentive programs.
