Join Our Team as a Staff GTM Engineer (AI & Automation)

At Grafana Labs, we are looking for a Staff GTM Engineer to help build our next-generation AI agent and workflow systems. In this role, you will focus on coding and developing automation that supports our Marketing, RevOps, and SDR teams. About the Role

This is a remote position open to candidates in Canada, excluding residents of Quebec. You will be responsible for executing the AI growth roadmap, creating internal capabilities, and integrating systems to enhance operational workflows. This role involves 60-70% coding and systems development and 30-40% operational enablement, including documentation and training.

What You'll Do

Build & Operate GTM Automation Systems

  • Develop reliable automation using custom code and orchestration tools (e.g., n8n, Workato, Make).
  • Implement scalable, multi-agent AI systems that integrate with marketing platforms like Salesforce and BigQuery.
  • Guide the technical direction for GTM automation, including data models and API contracts.
  • Review code, write tests, and ensure production reliability.

Operate, Enable, and Scale GTM Workflows

  • Collaborate with various teams to address workflow inefficiencies through agent-based solutions.
  • Create reusable templates and documentation for partner teams to self-serve automations.
  • Provide technical support for AI systems across teams.

Key Strategic Project: AI Chatbot Routing & Human-in-the-Loop Orchestration

  • Align AI chatbot systems across teams for unified prospect interaction routing.
  • Build intelligent routing logic for engaging human resources in prospect interactions.
  • Implement tracking and analytics to measure routing effectiveness.
  • Define SLAs and fallback pathways for uncertain routing situations.
  • Instrument funnel metrics and iterate for improvement.

AI Implementation & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain secure systems with compliance protocols and permission frameworks.
  • Establish company-wide standards for AI prompt engineering and business impact measurement.
  • Create training materials and best practices documentation for AI tools.
  • Support ongoing AI adoption with technical assistance and system optimization.

What We're Looking For

Technical Proficiency

  • 7+ years in building production systems and integrations.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs/AI in production workflows.
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled systems with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong skills in Python and JavaScript/Node.js.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks and AI-assisted development tools.

Systems Implementation & Operational Excellence

  • Experience with automation systems and agent workflows.
  • Ability to execute and deliver high-ROI AI automation projects.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.

Mindset & Approach

  • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms.

What We Offer

The base salary for this role is CAD 186,368 - CAD 223,642. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skillset. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) to give every team member a stake in our success.
