Technical Support Engineer at Finalsite
Join Finalsite as a Technical Support Engineer and play a key role in helping our clients with their data needs. You will support clients through ticketing and chat channels, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
About the Role
The Technical Support Engineer, Data is vital in ensuring our clients have accurate and up-to-date data across all Finalsite platforms. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S.
What You'll Do
- Support clients by resolving data-related questions and issues across Finalsite’s software platforms.
- Perform data sanitization, verification, import, and export functions.
- Update and maintain data mappings using XML and XSLT.
- Advise and educate clients on best practices.
- Schedule phone calls or Zoom meetings to collaborate on escalated issues.
- Create, execute, and modify SQL scripts to resolve issues and optimize database calls.
- Maintain and troubleshoot software that interacts with third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with Data Integration Engineers to ensure integrations and authentications work smoothly.
- Stay informed on best practices and functionality across Finalsite’s integration partners.
- Troubleshoot and create detailed software bug reports and product enhancement requests.
- Assist with integration deployments as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, Joomla, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience working with APIs is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and remain patient in challenging situations.
- 2-5 years of prior customer service or technical support experience is preferred.
- Willingness to cover evening and weekend hours as required.

- Experience with SQL and data integration.
