Join Metabase as a Technical Writer focused on Data Analytics. In this role, you'll create clear documentation that helps our users understand and utilize our data tools effectively.

About the Role

As a Technical Writer, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop customer-facing documentation for Metabase. You'll also collaborate with our Success Engineers to understand customer needs and create guides and tutorials. Your expertise will help shape the way we present our product.

What You'll Do

• Create clear and concise documentation for Metabase.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to gather information.
• Work with Success Engineers to develop best practices and tutorials.
• Become a product expert by testing new features and providing feedback.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience writing documentation for technical audiences in data analytics or related fields.
• Technical expertise in data science or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of database concepts.
• Experience with docs-as-code workflows, Markdown, and Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API and SDK documentation.
• Familiarity with Python or JavaScript.
• Strong opinions about documentation tools.
