AEC Customer Success Manager, US
Join Autodesk as a Customer Success Manager in our Education Experiences team. In this role, you'll partner with educational institutions to help them achieve their goals using our solutions. You'll be a trusted advisor, driving product adoption and expanding our partnerships.
About the Role
As a Customer Success Manager, you will work closely with Midmarket educational institutions. Your main focus will be ensuring that customers achieve their desired outcomes through collaboration. You will report to the Senior Manager of AEX Field Engagement, US, and work with the broader account team. This is a hybrid role, combining remote work with occasional onsite visits.
What You'll Do
- Gather customer requirements and pain points to recommend solutions that help them meet their goals.
- Demonstrate Autodesk solutions and technology to promote product adoption.
- Facilitate activities with cross-functional teams to ensure successful technology adoption.
- Build relationships within Autodesk teams to achieve account goals.
- Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, webinars, and mentoring sessions with customers.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers and advocate for their needs within the AEX team.
- Collaborate with Product teams, Autodesk Research, Customer Success, and other internal organizations.
- Prioritize tasks across multiple accounts and stakeholders.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews with the account team and executive sponsors.
- Travel up to 30% on average.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in architecture design tools like Revit, Forma, or similar software.
- 3+ years of experience in the architecture industry.
- 5+ years in customer success management, sales, or pre-sales with a proven track record.
- Collaborative and consultative work style, thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with sales methodologies and processes.
- Experience working with various customer stakeholder groups.
- Understanding of AECO and SaaS industries.
- Experience in large or complex enterprise organizations.
- Ability to inspire and influence others in relationships with Autodesk Learning Partners and peers.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with educators and students in post-secondary education institutions.
- Experience in a channel ecosystem.
- Previous experience using Salesforce.com.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Formal training in consultative sales techniques or methodologies.
- Experience driving software user adoption.

We offer a competitive salary for this role. For U.S.-based positions, the starting base salary ranges from $82,000 to $147,620. Actual offers depend on your experience and location, and may exceed this range. Our compensation package may also include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and comprehensive benefits.
