AI & Automation Strategy Lead

In this role, you will be at the forefront of our AI and automation initiatives. You will work closely with various teams to develop technology solutions that enhance our operations and drive efficiency.

About the Role

You will serve as the main point of contact between different teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication. Your focus will be on understanding business needs and creating effective technology strategies.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Partnership & Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between GCO, the WE DO Corp IT Platforms team, and the Automation and AI COEs, fostering a collaborative and transparent working relationship. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and build technology solutions that support operational goals.
• Technology Strategy & Roadmap Development: Maintain current-state assessments of GCO tools, systems, and processes, documenting strengths, gaps, and opportunities. Establish and maintain a comprehensive technology and automation roadmap that aligns with organizational priorities and future-state vision.
• Process Optimization & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency through automation and process redesign. Recommend and shape automation solutions that deliver measurable impact on efficiency and cost reduction.
• Technology Implementation: Partner closely with IT teams to design, evaluate, and implement technology solutions – including RPA, AI, machine learning, and other emerging capabilities. Support project planning, requirements gathering, and development to ensure successful implementation of new tools and features.
• Vendor Partnership: Collaborate with Vendor Management to evaluate external technology partners and provide feedback on vendor performance, capabilities, and future enhancements.
• Change Adoption: Promote continuous learning and encourage team proficiency in emerging technologies, automation, and AI.
• Work Environment: Operate effectively in a fully remote role, demonstrating accountability, communication, and self-management. Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture. This role will require working US hours.

What We're Looking For

• Core Competencies: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across IT, business operations, and vendor teams. Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions. Demonstrated capability in process analysis, workflow optimization, and the application of automation tools. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without formal authority.
• Technical Skills: Experience with automation platforms, RPA tools, and emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning. Ability to evaluate technology capabilities and document requirements for both business and technical audiences.

Nice to Have

• Background in technology planning, operational workflow design, or digital transformation.
• Experience assessing vendor tools and collaborating with third-party providers.
• Strong facilitation skills to support user adoption.
