About the Role

The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for adding new functionality to our key products. You will develop quality code for high-volume, security-intensive applications. Your strong communication skills will help you collaborate effectively with global teams and understand the needs of hiring managers and candidates.

What You'll Do

• Develop software applications and solutions based on documented business and system requirements.
• Write, edit, and debug code for assigned projects.
• Understand how applications operate, are structured, and how customers use them.
• Assist the testing team and support personnel to resolve application issues.
• Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports.
• Provide input and estimates about the effort required to build desired functionality.
• Learn and implement new technologies and design patterns.
• Use Test-driven Development (TDD) techniques to specify a detailed, executable design for your solution.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any Engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 3 years of application development experience with one or more of the following:
• Programming Languages: C# or Java
• Frontend: HTML, JavaScript
• Databases: MySQL/MSSQL/OracleDB
• Desire to learn all layers of the stack from front-end UI to databases and model layers.

Nice to Have

Experience with Test-driven Development (TDD) is a plus.

The salary range for this position is approximately $60,000-$70,000 base annually. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly based on the selected candidate’s experience and skills.
