Business Analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Loss Billing Unit. In this role, you will manage loss billing activities for various accounts and collaborate with multiple teams to enhance our processes. Your insights will help us improve our services and ensure customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting and directing loss billing activities. You will work closely with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, IT, and external stakeholders. Your role will involve analysis, problem-solving, and project management to drive improvements in our processes.
What You'll Do
- Manage loss billing activities for moderate to complex accounts.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Perform reconciliations, validations, and investigations.
- Lead projects to implement changes and enhance process efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
- Review work for quality and compliance with procedures.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of process documentation and audit materials.
- Utilize research and analytical skills to solve problems and present findings.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in business analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and familiarity with database software.
- Experience with business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Solid understanding of business operations and market conditions.
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong project management skills.
