Business Intelligence Manager, Content
Join Binance as a Business Intelligence Manager in our Content Team. You will take ownership of the data layer that informs our content strategy. Your work will directly influence editorial direction, distribution strategy, and audience growth.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will define metrics, build data models, and create reporting infrastructure. You will also uncover insights that drive our content strategy decisions.
What You'll Do
- Own the metrics: Define, maintain, and refine the core KPI system for the Content Team, focusing on content consumption, creator performance, user engagement, retention, and funnel conversion.
- Build the data foundation: Design and maintain stable, scalable data pipelines, models, and reporting layers to support business decision-making with reliable data.
- Drive insight, not just reports: Identify anomalies, trends, and opportunities through regular analysis without waiting to be asked.
- Close the loop: Track the impact of content experiments and strategy changes from hypothesis to recommendation.
- Enable self-service: Build intuitive dashboards and data products that empower teams to answer their own questions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Product and Operations to translate business questions into analytical problems and data insights into actionable decisions.
- Ensure data quality: Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and documentation; work with data engineering to resolve issues proactively.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years in BI, data analytics, or a related role at an internet company.
- Strong SQL skills; experience with big data tools (Hive, Spark, Presto) is a plus.
- Experience with AI native analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of content metrics (DAU/MAU, CTR, duration time, funnel conversion, retention cohorts).
- Strong logical thinking and structured communication skills.
- A high sense of ownership; you care about business outcomes, not just task completion.
Nice to Have
Experience with big data tools and AI native analysis tools will be beneficial.
