Digital Graphic Designer (Freelance)

We are looking for a talented Digital Graphic Designer to join our team on a freelance basis. In this remote role, you will create engaging digital assets for various projects, focusing on social media graphics. About the Opportunity

As a freelance graphic designer, you will develop digital assets for various projects, with a strong emphasis on social media graphics. We are looking for someone who can produce high-quality designs quickly and creatively.

Here’s what you can expect to do:

• Develop fast-turnaround, high-volume design assets while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
• Translate campaign ideas into engaging, platform-native creative that drives interaction and participation.
• Create visually compelling assets for giveaway campaigns, including static posts, carousels, and story formats.
• Design high-performing social media content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Create graphic elements for video and podcast projects to enhance visual appeal and engagement.
• Develop diverse digital collateral, including style guides, documents, and other visual assets.
• Adapt to our experimental content approach, consistently delivering high-quality work within tight timelines.
• Contribute your skills to a variety of design projects, including illustration, motion graphics, and presentation design.

What We’re Looking For

• Commitment to social change: You should have a demonstrated commitment to civic engagement with BIPOC and low-income communities.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in digital and social media design, particularly in creating dynamic social media graphics.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to understand design requirements and deliver results that meet expectations.
• Portfolio Showcase: A portfolio that highlights your ability to create slide deck presentations and impactful social media content.
• Self-Motivated: You should be self-driven and skilled in time management to meet deadlines effectively.

Compensation

This is a 3-month freelance opportunity with the potential to extend. The compensation is $40-$45/hour, with an estimated workload of 10-20 hours per week.
