Join Our Team as an E-Commerce Data & Product Information Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented E-Commerce Data & Product Information Specialist to support a growing lighting manufacturer in North America. In this role, you will manage and clean large volumes of product data across various e-commerce platforms and internal systems.

About the Role

This position requires a strong Excel user who can handle large SKU volumes and has experience with structured product data for online marketplaces. You will also assist with SEO-optimized product copywriting as a secondary responsibility. The role starts full-time during peak product launch periods and may flex to part-time during slower cycles. Candidates should be comfortable with fluctuating workloads tied to seasonal launches.

What You'll Do

  • Product Data Management & Preparation (Primary)
    • Collect and consolidate product data from various internal sources (engineering, pricing, purchasing, marketing).
    • Clean, validate, and standardize data for accuracy and consistency.
    • Prepare master product data files for new product launches.
    • Maintain high levels of accuracy across thousands of SKUs with technical attributes (dimensions, lumen output, specifications, etc.).
    • Ensure data integrity for designer- and customer-facing platforms.
  • E-Commerce Data Translation & Partner Uploads
    • Translate master product data into platform-specific templates for e-commerce partners (e.g., Wayfair, Home Depot, Ferguson, Amazon).
    • Adjust columns, attributes, and formatting based on each partner’s unique requirements.
    • Support onboarding of new e-commerce vendors by preparing compliant data files.
    • Assist with ongoing updates and corrections to existing partner listings.
  • PIM System Support
    • Work within the company’s Product Information Management (PIM) system (CATC).
    • Support the maintenance and organization of high-level product data.
    • Collaborate with senior data stakeholders to ensure accurate data flow from PIM to external platforms.
  • SEO Product Copywriting (Nice to Have)
    • Draft SEO-optimized product titles, descriptions, and key feature bullet points.
    • Optimize copy for marketplaces such as Amazon, Wayfair, and other e-commerce platforms.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align copy with brand guidelines and technical accuracy.

What We're Looking For

  • Must-Haves
    • Advanced Excel proficiency (handling large, complex datasets).
    • Strong background in data entry, data cleanup, and data validation.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Experience working with large SKU catalogs (thousands of products).
    • Comfortable handling technical product specifications.
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Nice-to-Haves
    • Experience working with e-commerce marketplaces (Wayfair, Home Depot, Amazon, etc.).
    • Familiarity with PIM systems (CATC experience is a plus).
    • SEO copywriting experience for product listings.
    • Prior experience supporting product launches or merchandising teams.

What We Offer

  • Salary: $800 - $1,100 a month.
  • 100% Remote work.
  • $50 birthday bonus.
  • $200 testimonial bonus.
  • $300 tenure bonus every 6 months.
  • $500 entry monthly raffle.
