Head of Legal
Join Social Discovery Group (SDG) as our Head of Legal. In this role, you will oversee all legal matters for our company, which connects over 500 million users through 60+ brands. You will play a key role in ensuring our operations are compliant and our users are protected.
About the Role
As the Head of Legal, you will lead our legal team and provide guidance on various legal issues. You will work closely with different departments to support our mission of reducing loneliness and fostering connections.
What You'll Do
- Manage all legal affairs for SDG, including contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Advise on intellectual property issues and protect our brands.
- Support the business in navigating legal risks and opportunities.
- Oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- At least 8 years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, intellectual property, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

- Fluency in multiple languages.
