We are looking for a dedicated Hospital / Institutional Customer Representative to join our Hospital Customer Team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will connect with healthcare providers to understand their needs and support our mission of improving health outcomes for patients.
About the Role
This is a field-based sales position covering the Columbus, Ohio territory, including areas like Bowling Green, Findlay, Lima, Springfield, Mansfield, Newark, Zanesville, Lancaster, and parts of West Virginia, such as Parkersburg. You will need to reside within this territory, and some overnight travel may be required.
What You'll Do
- Communicate product information in a way that resonates with each customer, tailoring discussions to their specific needs.
- Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare providers about our products, knowing when to seek or provide additional information.
- Act as the primary contact for select customer accounts, meeting with key personnel to understand their business models and identify opportunities.
- Coordinate with the customer team to develop strategies for customer interactions and offerings.
- Work closely with National Account Executives to focus on Managed Care pull-through.
- Share insights and best practices to help other customers meet their needs.
- Focus on improving health outcomes by considering both healthcare provider and patient experiences.
- Provide input on resource allocation decisions for customers.
- Select appropriate programs and services to address customer needs.
- Collaborate with the solutions group to develop relevant offerings for customers.
- Maintain an understanding of practice structures and business models, sharing information with stakeholders.
- Work with the extended customer team to ensure a consistent experience across our company.
- Demonstrate excellence in account management and customer interactions.
- Implement approved resources and programs to meet customer and company needs.
- Raise awareness of approved Inpatient Hospital Letters of Participation with eligible customers.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of sales experience, or a high school diploma with at least 6 years of equivalent experience in fields like sales, marketing, or healthcare.
- Experience working in a scientific or healthcare environment.
- Previous sales experience and a track record of developing new business opportunities.
- Ability to establish new customer relationships.
- Understanding of our products and therapeutic areas.
- Consistent performance in key competency areas.
- Valid Driver's license.
Preferred:
- Prior consulting or customer service experience.
- Experience in developing and executing customer engagement plans.
- Understanding of headquarters operations.
- Ability to analyze metrics to assess progress.
- Experience in hospital or institutional sales or clinical experience in critical care, transplant, or infusion centers.
What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $106,200.00 - $167,200.00. This range reflects our good faith belief at the time of posting. Your position within this range will depend on various factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
You will also be eligible for an annual bonus and long-term incentives, if applicable.
