We are looking for a Hospital / Institutional Customer Representative to join our Hospital Customer Team. In this role, you will engage with healthcare providers to understand their needs and ensure our company is recognized for delivering value and improving health outcomes.
About the Role
This is a field-based sales position covering the Jackson, Mississippi - Shreveport, Louisiana territory, which may also include Ruston and Monroe, Louisiana. The selected candidate must reside within this territory and should be prepared for some overnight travel.
What You'll Do
- Communicate effectively about our products, tailoring your discussions to meet the needs of each customer.
- Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare providers, knowing when to seek and provide additional information.
- Act as the primary point of contact for select customer accounts, understanding their practice structure and identifying business opportunities.
- Coordinate with the customer team to develop strategies for interactions and solutions that meet customer needs.
- Work closely with National Account Executives to focus on Managed Care pull-through.
- Share insights and best practices from one customer to help others.
- Focus on improving health outcomes for both healthcare providers and patients.
- Provide input on resource allocation decisions across customers.
- Identify and select programs/services from our resource library to address customer needs.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Implement approved resources and programs to meet customer and company needs.
- Raise awareness of approved Inpatient Hospital Letters of Participation with eligible customers.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of sales experience, or a high school diploma with at least 6 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific fields.
Required:
- Experience in a scientific field or healthcare environment.
- Previous sales experience.
- Ability to develop new business opportunities with existing customers.
- Experience in establishing new customer relationships.
- Understanding of our products and therapeutic areas.
- Consistent performance in key competency areas.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Willingness to travel as required by the role.
Preferred:
- Consulting or customer service experience.
- Experience in developing and executing customer engagement plans.
- Understanding of Headquarters operations.
- Ability to analyze metrics to assess progress.
- Hospital/Institutional Sales experience.
What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $106,200.00 - $167,200.00. This range reflects what we believe is a fair compensation based on various factors such as education, experience, and location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual bonus and long-term incentives.
