As a Lead Implementations Support Engineer at Blossom, you will play a key role in delivering technical solutions for new client cooperatives. You will lead and mentor our Implementations team, ensuring a smooth onboarding process from start to finish.

About the Role

This position is focused on the technical delivery of new clients into the Blossom platforms. You will oversee data migration, system setup, configuration, and ensure everything is ready for a successful go-live. You will also be the main point of contact for any technical issues that arise during implementations.

What You'll Do

• Manage the technical onboarding process for new cooperatives from kickoff to go-live and support.
• Lead data migration from external systems into Blossom, ensuring data is complete and accurate.
• Design and improve ETL processes for large-scale data loads.
• Set up and configure systems for new clients to operate on Blossom.
• Act as the primary technical resource for implementation-related issues.
• Develop and automate workflows to enhance migration and setup efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Customer Success teams.
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
• Create and maintain implementation documentation and client-specific guides.
• Identify risks early and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on platform changes and adapt implementation practices as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL, including data validation and migration.
• Knowledge of ETL development for data migrations.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Java to support core platform services.
• Familiarity with mobile application publishing for Android and iOS.
• Ability to automate tasks and build internal tools for onboarding.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of financial systems or cooperative banking is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of software engineering or systems implementation experience, including 1+ year in a leadership role.
• 3+ years of experience with data migrations and ETL processes in production.
• 2+ years supporting Java and JavaScript-based systems.
• Experience in financial services or core banking implementations is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
