About the Role
In this role, you will lead design efforts in a critical area of our product. You will determine the direction and ensure that the experience meets user needs. You will collaborate with a talented team and contribute to the overall product strategy. Your work will set a high standard for design across the company.
What You'll Do
- Own a product area from start to finish: identify opportunities, frame problems, set design direction, and ship solutions.
- Design complex, multi-step product flows that cater to different user types, balancing creator needs with member experience.
- Prototype and test quickly using AI-assisted tools and other efficient methods.
- Influence product strategy by contributing to roadmap discussions and identifying opportunities across teams.
- Maintain high craft standards in your area, focusing on interaction design and visual quality.
- Work closely with engineers to turn concepts into working products.
- Elevate the design team through feedback and by sharing best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Strong alignment with our company values.
- Proficiency in English at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
- 5–7+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating systems-level thinking and complex user flows.
- Experience as the senior designer on a product area, making decisions and owning outcomes.
- Strong prototyping skills, with the ability to create realistic prototypes independently.
- Proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity design and collaboration.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly and align teams.
- Comfortable designing in ambiguity and iterating to build conviction.
- An active use of AI tools in your design process.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools like Cursor, Claude Code, v0, or Lovable.
What We Offer
- Fully remote work: you can work from anywhere in the world.
- Autonomy and trust to do your job: we focus on outcomes.
- 35 days of paid time off annually, plus a paid sabbatical after 5 years.
- Generous compensation and startup equity, benchmarked to U.S. standards.
- 100% medical coverage for you and your family, or medical reimbursement options where applicable.
- Parental leave for expanding families.
- Home office stipend to help you set up your workspace.
- Learning and development stipend to enhance your professional skills.
- Annual bonus potential for eligible roles.
- Company retreats twice a year in beautiful locations around the world.
Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 USD per year. This range is a starting point and may vary based on experience. We are hiring at a Lead level, but may consider a Senior level depending on your qualifications.
