Join Our Team as a Manager of Business Development
As a Manager of Business Development at Hilton, you'll play a key role in our Global Sales Team. You'll help connect Hilton with new partners while driving growth for our diverse portfolio of brands. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S.
About the Role
In this role, you will support the Business Development team and report to the Assistant Managing Director. Your focus will be on identifying and qualifying organizations that can partner with Hilton Worldwide Sales.
What You'll Do
- Solicit, qualify, and generate new business by identifying, researching, and analyzing potential accounts.
- Understand group business across various segments, including corporate, association, intermediary, sports, and leisure.
- Negotiate business travel sales contracts and understand the RFP process.
- Utilize AI and targeted initiatives to drive impact.
- Manage customer connections using Salesforce and document sales activities.
- Represent Hilton at tradeshows and industry events to generate new business opportunities.
How You'll Collaborate with Others
- Engage with clients to connect with decision-makers and qualify potential Hilton Worldwide Sales coverage.
- Work with colleagues to foster a collaborative commercial culture.
- Build relationships with Hilton Worldwide Sales peers, customers, and hotel partners to qualify opportunities.
Deliverables You'll Take Ownership Of
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of accounts that meet established revenue thresholds.
- Support sales customers and hotels in the sales process and participate in Hilton meetings and conferences.
- Conduct cold calls and follow up on leads, handling rejection gracefully.
What We're Looking For
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of professional experience.
- Three (3) years of hotel group sales or operations experience.
- One (1) year of experience in a hotel with 500+ rooms.
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
Nice to Have
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience using Salesforce and Delphi.
- Business Travel (transient) Sales experience.
- Experience with AI tools to enhance workstreams.

The pay range for this role is $65,000 – $95,000, based on experience and location. You will also be eligible for the Hilton Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), consistent with other team members at the same level.
