Manager, Customer Onboarding

Join Deel as a Manager of Customer Onboarding. In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to helping customers get started with our platform. You will be responsible for team development and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for our clients.

About the Role

Deel is a payroll and HR platform designed for global teams. We aim to unlock opportunities for every individual and business. As a Manager, you will oversee a growing team of Onboarding Managers (OBMs) and drive initiatives that enhance customer journeys.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and develop a team of OBMs, including recruiting, hiring, and training new members.
  • Motivate your team and support their personal development.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for the team to ensure goals are met.
  • Become an expert in the Deel platform and assist your team in resolving complex customer issues.
  • Lead initiatives that improve customer onboarding processes and experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Support, Operations, Product, and Engineering to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Propose and implement improvements to onboarding workflows through process enhancements and automation.
  • Provide training, feedback, and coaching to the onboarding managers for ongoing development.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of experience in Customer Onboarding or Customer Success for a B2B SaaS product.
  • Strong project management skills with a proactive approach to anticipating next steps.
  • High attention to detail and ability to create organized onboarding plans.
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience in building strong relationships.
  • Team player with experience in diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas clearly.

Nice to Have

Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
