At Revecore, we help hospitals serve more patients by ensuring they receive the payments they are owed from insurance companies. We are looking for a dedicated Manager for our Data Engineering team. In this role, you will oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines while leading a talented team of data engineers.

About the Role

This position reports to the Senior Director of Data Engineering. You will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our data platform while balancing hands-on work and team leadership.

What You'll Do

• Data Pipelines and ETL: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. Own the ETL and ELT implementation in Snowflake, ensuring data quality and performance. Collaborate with other teams to deliver clean data models.
• Data Modeling and Business Logic: Develop robust data models that reflect business processes. Ensure the team understands the context of the data and champion data correctness.
• Data Lifecycle, Migration, and Validation: Oversee the entire data lifecycle, lead migration efforts, and enforce data validation frameworks.
• Technical Leadership: Contribute to the architectural evolution of the data platform and establish engineering best practices.
• Team Leadership: Manage daily operations of the data engineering team, conduct performance reviews, and support team members' growth.
• Data Governance and Compliance: Implement a data governance framework and ensure compliance with data handling practices.
• Execution and Collaboration: Translate the data engineering roadmap into project plans and manage timelines and cross-functional dependencies.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3-4 years in a management role.
• Experience building and scaling data pipelines in a cloud-native environment.
• Strong knowledge of ETL and ELT design patterns, data modeling, and distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake and transformation frameworks like dbt.
• Experience implementing a data governance program.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A balance of technical execution and people leadership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Background in ML Engineering or feature store pipelines.
• Experience in a high-growth technology company.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
