Onboarding Technician at Nextiva

Join Nextiva as an Onboarding Technician. In this role, you will help new customers set up their phone system accounts and ensure they have a smooth experience with our services. You will be a key part of our commitment to providing amazing service.

About the Role

The Onboarding Technician is responsible for assisting new customers with the initial setup of their phone system accounts. You will conduct network checks, implement solutions, provide training, and provision accounts efficiently, all while aligning with our values of Amazing Service.

What You'll Do

  • Assist new customers with the initial setup of their phone system accounts.
  • Provide basic training on Nextiva features, call flow, and devices to customers via telephone.
  • Evaluate network compatibility and quality of service.
  • Configure accounts accurately and promptly.
  • Test call flow, devices, and features to ensure correct configuration.
  • Take personal ownership and demonstrate timeliness on every call or project.
  • Meet and exceed daily performance metrics to ensure success.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficient in English (both written and oral).
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong active listening skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work a night-shift schedule aligned with U.S. business hours (Mon-Fri between 4:00pm - 3:00am Kyiv time).

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with any type of CRM.
  • BroadWorks experience.
  • Basic networking skills.
