Principal Medical Writer - UK (fully remote)

Join Precision AQ as a Principal Medical Writer. In this role, you'll lead the development of scientific content and drive medical communications initiatives. You'll partner with clients across various therapeutic areas to create meaningful, evidence-based content that improves healthcare outcomes.

About the Role

This is a senior position that combines scientific leadership with people management. You will oversee content quality, mentor junior writers, and collaborate with account teams to deliver projects that meet client goals. Your work will include developing educational materials and contributing to new business pitches.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of scientific content across diverse therapeutic areas.
• Oversee content quality and mentor junior writers.
• Collaborate with account teams to ensure client objectives are met.
• Develop educational materials, including symposia, advisory boards, workshops, and slide decks.
• Contribute to new business pitches and key projects.

What We're Looking For

• Over 7 years of experience as a medical writer.
• Strong background in creating medical education materials.
• Expertise in therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, infectious diseases, immunology, or rare diseases.
• A Master's degree or PhD is a plus, but not essential with the right experience.

Nice to Have

Experience in leading teams and managing projects would be beneficial.
