About the Role

The Proposal Associate – Writing role is essential in developing high-quality proposals for our projects. You will collaborate with Account Directors, subject matter experts, and other team members to ensure our proposals are clear and compelling.

What You'll Do

• Develop proposals by leading the writing and coordination of responses using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other formats.
• Work with Account Directors and subject matter experts to manage the proposal development process.
• Participate in project strategy discussions to ensure our offerings are well-articulated.
• Proofread and edit documents for readability, consistency, and accuracy.
• Meet deadlines by prioritizing tasks and gathering necessary information.
• Act as a point of contact for collecting information from various sources.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to customize content.
• Independently gather proposal content from team discussions and internal resources.
• Maintain the content library by providing updated materials from proposal development.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Support entry-level associates with minimal mentorship and manage high-complexity projects as needed.

Requirements

• Strong writing, project management, and time management skills.
• At least two years of experience in CRO/pharmaceutical business development or as a Proposal Associate – Writing.
• Bachelor's degree; a master’s or PhD is preferred, especially in Life Sciences, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
• Experience drafting RFIs in a CRO environment or in pharma/biotech outsourcing is preferred.
• Knowledge of the CRO/pharmaceutical industry and project management requirements.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
