Regional Sales Manager at Impel

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will focus on direct sales while also exploring partner sales opportunities. You will manage the entire sales process, aiming to generate new business and close deals. Your success will directly impact your earnings through commissions.

About the Role

This position is primarily outside sales. You will work closely with automotive dealers, brands, and groups in your territory. Your goal is to introduce our products and programs to key decision-makers.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with automotive dealers and brands to introduce products to key decision-makers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all company products and programs.
  • Manage a sales pipeline with multiple accounts and partners.
  • Successfully prospect, build a pipeline, and move opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Present knowledge of competition and competitive issues.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings and trade shows.
  • Track all communications and details accurately in Salesforce.
  • Drive partners to maximize sales through best practices, support, and training.

What We're Looking For

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proven success in outside sales or a Sales Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Sales experience in technology (SaaS) is preferred.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Platforms.
  • Highly motivated self-starter eager to learn and improve.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity as a representative of the Impel brand.
  • Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, and account development.
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight trips and several hours of driving per day.
  • Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm.
