About the Role:

Salary range: $170k – $210k USD*

We are looking for experienced engineers who love to code and enjoy tackling challenging problems. As part of the Client Integrations team, you will work on the external-facing APIs that power our customers’ core workflows. Your responsibilities will include designing and building API endpoints, improving database performance, and integrating with various third-party services. You’ll also translate product requirements into reliable business logic, help resolve customer issues, and contribute to making our platform faster and easier to use.

You’ll collaborate with a global team of engineers to build scalable backend solutions as we grow. In our small team, your contributions will have a significant impact on our technology and business.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and build external-facing APIs.
  • Improve database and query performance.
  • Integrate with third-party services.
  • Translate product requirements into business logic.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues.
  • Collaborate with a global team of engineers.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, especially with external-facing APIs.
  • Strong ownership of your work and ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Proactive communication skills to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Comfort with experimentation and rapid iteration.
  • Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Python, though candidates from other OO backgrounds are welcome.
  • Experience with serverless technologies and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with LLMs/generative AI.
  • Experience with distributed systems.
