At GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Senior Director of Business Development to help us grow our strategic accounts. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and achieving our revenue goals.

About the Role

As the Senior Director, Business Development, you will focus on expanding existing strategic accounts, managing collaborative pipelines, and increasing our market share. This is a great opportunity to be part of a company that is on the rise.

What You'll Do

• Act as the sales leader in your region, representing upper management and motivating your team.
• Oversee revenue, margin, and profitability growth for all focus accounts within your brokerage region.
• Develop strategies for under-penetrated and unprofitable accounts.
• Assess the potential of each focus account and create action plans to maximize market share.
• Monitor revenue achievement by customer and work with key stakeholders to ensure commitments are met.
• Promote success in sales initiatives and share effective practices.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers to understand their needs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the brokerage business unit.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• At least 7 years of sales experience in the logistics and transportation industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Nice to Have

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Experience in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Strong ability to build collaborative work relationships internally and externally.
