Senior Game Engineer, Games R&D - Tech Lab

About the Role

The Tech Lab team focuses on building creative games that validate and guide Netflix's emerging technology investments. You will work on unique projects that inspire and demonstrate what is possible with new technologies, while ensuring an excellent developer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and prototype engaging game experiences across various technologies and engines in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to drive creative intent in experiments and games.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience as an engineer, with a track record of shipping multiple AAA, casual, or mobile games.
  • Experience building games for early or unfinished platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
  • Familiarity with multiple game engine technologies, including Unity3D and Unreal Engine.
  • A genuine interest in creating video games, especially in smaller, focused projects.
  • Proficiency in C# and C++.

Nice to Have

Experience with a variety of game engines and platforms is a plus, but not required.
