Join Our Team as a Senior Manager, Employee Development
At HubSpot, we are dedicated to helping our employees grow and succeed. We are looking for a Senior Manager of Employee Development to lead our Learning & Talent Development team. In this role, you will create and enhance professional development programs, modernize learning experiences, and support your team through effective management and coaching.
About the Role
This is a unique chance to influence how HubSpotters enhance their skills and achieve their best performance. You will collaborate across the organization to design innovative, AI-driven professional development strategies that prepare employees for the future of work.
What You'll Do
- Modernize and scale core IC programs: Redesign key programs for high-impact talent and enhance the onboarding process to be AI-first and scalable.
- Build a professional development curriculum for ICs: Create and implement a curriculum focused on essential skills like communication and influencing.
- Lead and develop people: Foster team growth through effective management and coaching.
- Drive AI tool adoption for ICs: Select and integrate AI development tools, ensuring they meet employee needs and are incorporated into daily workflows.
- Conduct needs analysis: Identify skill gaps and development opportunities, using data to improve existing programs.
- Design impactful experiences: Create engaging learning experiences based on best practices in instructional design.
- Facilitate learning experiences: Lead virtual and in-person learning sessions for diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Leverage data for improvement: Use metrics and feedback to assess program effectiveness and enhance learner outcomes.
- Model cross-functional collaboration: Build relationships with leaders and stakeholders to align and promote development programs.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in building learning programs from scratch, assessing needs, and using data for continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to adapt to new methods as AI evolves the learning and development landscape.
- Expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Experience creating AI-powered learning experiences for professional development.
- Strong people management and coaching skills.
- Confidence in facilitating impactful learning experiences both virtually and in person.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- A growth mindset with a desire to keep learning and explore new approaches.
Nice to Have
Experience with AI tools and a current understanding of the latest trends in learning and development would be beneficial.
