About the Role

As the Senior Manager of People Experience at Fortis Games, you will help shape and manage the systems that enhance connection and collaboration within our team. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution. You will oversee programs that define how our employees build community and work together effectively in a fully remote environment. You will also lead a small team while driving key initiatives from design to delivery.

What You'll Do

Community Engagement

  • Build internal programs and rituals that foster a sense of belonging in our gamer-focused organization.

Remote Excellence

  • Define and implement programs that support effective collaboration among our globally distributed team.

On-Sites & Gatherings

  • Design and execute in-person experiences that strengthen alignment and collaboration among teams.

Guilds

  • Support and provide a framework for our employee resource groups, known as Guilds.

What You'll Achieve

Employee Experience & Program Strategy

  • Design and implement a cohesive Employee Experience strategy focused on community engagement and collaboration.
  • Define a practical Remote Excellence framework with clear norms and toolkits for teams and managers.
  • Manage logistics for company on-sites and in-person gatherings to enhance connection and collaboration.
  • Develop programs and rituals that strengthen relationships across teams.
  • Support Guilds to ensure they operate as effective communities for professional development and belonging.

Leadership & Operations

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to align on culture priorities and support key initiatives.
  • Provide data-informed recommendations while maintaining a focus on action and execution.
  • Manage the budget and vendors for employee experience initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in a global organization, with ownership of relevant workstreams such as:
    • Company offsites or large employee events,
    • Internal community or engagement programs, and/or
    • Inclusion & Belonging programs.
  • Experience in remote-first organizations and designing global programs across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to partner with and influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • A strong connection to gaming culture, with experience in the video game or creator-driven industries preferred.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
