The initial assignment for the new position is to develop a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise. The successful candidate will work with highly experienced team leads and have an opportunity to learn new technologies, while refining fundamental skills.Salary (Base + Standard Bonus at plan): $149,500 ($130K + $19.5K).JOB RESPONSIBILITIESLead the test automation efforts for a loan origination system using Node, Apollo GraphQL, Angular, Camunda, and a suite of AWS components including but not limited to EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, and Aurora.Collaborate with SDETs in the organization.Design test plans for the systemCreate automated end-to-end and contract testsCreate a performance testing framework and run performance tests on the system being developedDirect junior test engineers in their automated and manual testing effortsWork with the product team to determine what constitutes an effectively tested systemContribute as member of an Agile team and promote Agile practicesProactively collaborate with the Ten Mile team on development and knowledge sharingRepresent yourself and Ten Mile Square with integrity, expertise, and valueMaintain the confidentiality of our clients on an ongoing basisFacilitate the hiring and onboarding of other Software Engineers in TestQualificationsExpert in software developmentHigh proficiency with TypeScript Expert in automated testingWorking knowledge of SQLWorking knowledge of at least one of the common frontend JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Ionic, React, Vue), preferably AngularWorking knowledge of at least one end-to-end testing frameworkExperience with Selenium, Cypress or similar preferredImplementation of at least one load testing frameworkExperience or exposure to K6, JMeter or similar preferredExperience testing both backend and frontend components Full software lifecycle participation: requirements to post-implementation Linux command line More importantly, Be passionate about what you doDemonstrated ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly Detail-oriented High integrity and quality of work ethic Self-motivated to proactively identify and solve problems Excellent communication skills – within team and with clients Additional InformationEXCEPTIONAL PEOPLE DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL BENEFITSTen Mile Square Technologies benefits package currently includes:100% company paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (including family)100% company paid individual short- and long- term disability100% company paid vision insurance3% company contribution to 401(k)15 days paid time off per year + 1 day/year up to 20 days10 training days per year8 company holidays + 2 personal daysIndividual performance-based quarterly cash incentiveCombined individual and company based annual cash incentivePublic transit reimbursementAdditional Details:Job Type: Full-time, not C2CJob Location: Remote, US based only
