As a Software Engineer at Allium, you will tackle unique challenges in the blockchain space. You will help build the system that makes onchain finance accessible and reliable for institutions.

About the Role

We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving new problems daily. You will work on various tasks, including:

• Data Egress: Transporting large amounts of data globally efficiently.
• High Traffic: Supporting major applications with peak traffic handling.
• Botnets: Identifying and managing botnets based on behavioral patterns.
• Fraud Detection: Adapting fraud detection methods to the blockchain environment.
• Transaction Meaning: Defining what constitutes meaningful transactions on the blockchain.
• Custom APIs: Allowing customers to design their own APIs and manage real-time data streams.
• Data Governance: Ensuring data quality and consistency across all regions.
• AI and LLMs: Designing AI experiences to simplify access to crypto data.
• Data Transformation: Unifying streaming and batch transformation logic.

What You'll Do

You will work with a diverse set of tools and technologies, including:

• OLAP solutions like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.
• OLTP databases such as Postgres and Aurora.
• Event buses like Kafka and PubSub.
• Cloud providers including AWS and GCP.
• Data transformation tools like Apache Beam and DBT.
