Software Engineer at Ping Identity

As a Software Engineer at Ping Identity, you will contribute to the development of our innovative cloud identity platform. You will help create secure and seamless digital experiences for users while working within a collaborative and agile team environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will be part of a team focused on building a market-leading platform that provides flexible identification, authentication, and authorization solutions. Your work will directly impact how businesses and individuals interact online.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with an agile development team to implement high-quality product features.
  • Engage with product management and owners to enhance the platform and develop new features.
  • Understand and improve local and cloud deployments.
  • Plan and estimate work to be completed.
  • Maintain existing code and resolve reported defects.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture.

What We're Looking For

  • Familiarity with the Java programming language.
  • A desire to learn and curiosity about how things work.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • A quick learner who can independently gather information and understand complex features.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with development tools such as IDEs, Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
  • Understanding of RESTful web services.
  • Experience with identity management technologies and protocols (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, cryptography).
  • Knowledge of enterprise-scale systems and security configurations.
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and design patterns.
