About the Role
As a Senior BI Engineer at Cint, you will play a key role in shaping our data visualization ecosystem and analytical frameworks. You will collaborate with various teams to turn raw data into useful insights, ensuring our reporting solutions are high-quality and scalable.
What You'll Do

Pipeline & Data Modeling: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and data models that support complex analytical needs.

Strategic Visualization: Create dashboards and reporting tools that offer quick insights for leadership and detailed analysis for teams.

Data Governance: Set and uphold best practices for data documentation, metadata management, and data quality to ensure a reliable source of truth.

Performance Optimization: Review and enhance SQL queries and dashboard performance for quick access to large datasets.

Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as a technical consultant to non-technical departments, helping them define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and translate business questions into technical requirements.

Mentorship: Lead code reviews and guide junior engineers on data modeling techniques and visualization best practices.
What We're Looking For
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

5+ years of experience in BI engineering, data engineering, or a technical analytics role.

Experience working with data from various systems and aligning them into unified, high-integrity data models within a modern data warehouse.

Strong background in data warehousing principles, with experience in cloud data warehouses like Databricks (preferred), Snowflake, or BigQuery.

Good understanding of dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) and modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt).

Expert-level SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.

Experience with at least one enterprise BI platform, such as Omni or Power BI.

Strong analytical and creative design skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to various audiences.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
Nice to Have

Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
