In this role, you will be a strategic partner for our clients, guiding them through the full funnel and performance sales process. You will engage with assigned accounts, meet performance targets, and drive value for users seeking inspiration. Your success will rely on your ability to foster long-term client relationships and generate revenue growth.
What You'll Do
- Retain and grow the value we deliver to partners, increasing Pinterest revenue.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers, arranging regular meetings to discuss their needs and objectives.
- Coordinate internal support to address strategic challenges for clients and agencies.
- Track and communicate key metrics and business trends to partners and internally.
- Influence how advertisers view Pinterest within their media mix.
- Present customized digital media strategies that align with partners' marketing goals.
- Understand partners' business objectives and translate data into actionable insights.
- Provide insights based on knowledge of the digital advertising landscape.
- Encourage increased advertising investment by applying customer goals and joint strategies.
- Secure and grow revenue through proactive planning, pitching, and negotiations.
- Explore new revenue opportunities across various business lines and marketing objectives.
- Influence budget allocation from relevant teams.
- Guide partners on product and service best practices.
- Stay informed about Pinterest ad product features and their benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product-related questions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales, digital, or social.
- A strong network in the Melbourne market.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to influence business decision-makers.
- Ad Tech and Digital Advertising Expertise: Understanding of full funnel advertising solutions, including media and measurement.
- Strong Consultative and Negotiation Skills: Experience in developing long-term partnerships and negotiating agreements.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to leverage insights for revenue growth.
- Goal and Result-Oriented Approach: Ability to achieve revenue goals while fostering partnerships.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Thrive in fast-paced environments and maintain high standards.
- Retail Partnership Knowledge: Experience with omnichannel and e-commerce retail brands.
Nice to Have
Experience in driving growth with both domestic and international retail brands is a plus.
What We Offer
The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $150,000, depending on experience. We also provide a range of benefits to support your well-being and work-life balance.

- This role is fully remote for now, but you will be expected to visit the Sydney office once a quarter for team engagement.
- Employees in Sydney typically attend the office 2-3 times per week, but this is not mandated.
