Join Liberty Mutual Insurance as a Senior Data Solutions Analyst. In this role, you will build and maintain data solutions that meet the needs of our business partners. You will work on complex projects and develop scalable solutions that add value to our organization.

About the Role

You will independently handle complex assignments and prototype data solutions. Your work will involve coding proof-of-concepts and ensuring they meet both technical and business requirements. You will also guide and mentor team members while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop data solutions for effective self-service data consumption.
• Conduct iterative testing to ensure solutions meet specifications.
• Influence strategic thinking within the team and across the organization.
• Identify best practices to ensure requirements are met.
• Prioritize projects based on customer value and set clear expectations for deliverables.
• Create roadmaps for data solutions and translate vague ideas into data products.
• Ensure high data quality by applying principles of metadata, lineage, compliance, and data security.

What We're Looking For

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Master's Degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in coding for data management, data warehousing, or similar environments.
• Experience with NoSQL implementation, ETL, Java, and scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell).
• Familiarity with the Hadoop stack is a plus.
