As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our systems and supporting our mission. You will design solutions, mentor team members, and ensure our software applications meet high standards.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for implementing efficient code and designing solutions that enhance our systems infrastructure. You will work closely with development leads and product owners, helping to plan and schedule tasks while mentoring junior team members.

What You'll Do

• Implement efficient code and design solutions for system infrastructure.
• Assist with task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
• Refine product technical requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and produce deliverables.
• Mentor junior team members and lead design meetings.
• Perform peer code reviews.
• Stay current on new technologies and evaluate vendor packages.
• Conduct systems analysis and recommend policy changes.
• Lead the design of software applications and deployment pipelines.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Two years of software development experience, including:
• Experience with a specific technology stack.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud computing.
• Building, deploying, and supporting web/mobile applications.
• CI/CD and software development design patterns.
• Working with automated testing frameworks in agile processes.
• One year of experience in:
• Validating Rest API calls using Postman.
• Developing microservices with AWS services and Python.
• Automating ETL processes and report generation.
• Developing infrastructure with a focus on security and compliance.
• Assisting with data-related technical issues.
• Performing architectural design and implementing scalable solutions.
• Remote work capability.

Nice to Have

Experience in mentoring or leading teams is a plus.
