Pismo’s cloud-based platform empowers firms to build and launch financial products rapidly, scaling as they grow to have a broader audience while keeping high security and availability standards.Pismo’s 500+ employees are located in more than 10 countries around the world.Job DescriptionThis team is accountable for the design, development, and operation of our Interest Engine, the system responsible for configuring and calculating interest across core banking financial products.What You'll Do:Consistency, scalability, and cost requirements., such as best practices observingDesign and develop functionalities on the platform,Feature evolution/System maintenance in a hybrid architecture (Java Microservices + Transactional processing in BigData Tools - Databricks/Airflow)Support the team and remove technical impedimentsCoordinate technical refinement based on business specifications.Communicate with stakeholders during the development of a product to keep them updated.Develop technical tasks, prioritize and manage the backlog.Use available AI Tools to improve teams processesConduct stress/performance testsDemonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project features, under minimal guidanceApplies standard processes on the use of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python) to write code that fulfills technical requirements.Collaborates with others to support the piloting of new technology capabilities and features that enhance the performance and functionality experience for consumers.Analyzes bugs for simple issues and applies debugging tools to verify assumptions.This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. # LI-RemoteQualificationsBasic Qualifications:B2 English levelBe based in Brazil4+ years of experience in product development related role within the technology or financial services sectorAbility to design architecture with attention to resilience, cost, and performanceProficiency in systems development using JavaExperience with Python or knowledge of big data tools such as (Databricks, Airflow, Spark)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability articulate prioritiesDemonstrated experience managing product backlogs and supporting product roadmapsAbility to work independently in a remote, multicultural team environmentSolve complex problems of concurrency, multi-threading, and increased latencyProficiency in microservices architectureProficiency in cloud development (AWS preferred)Availability to be part of the team's on-call scheduleAbility to troubleshoot and handle observability tools (Grafana preferred)Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency with Infrastructure as CodeAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
