Join Colgate-Palmolive as a Territory Manager in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In this role, you will manage a customer base of veterinary clinics and work to grow sales and market share for Hill's products.
About the Role
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with veterinary clinics. You will focus on increasing sales, enhancing product visibility, and promoting the benefits of Hill's pet diets. Your efforts will help improve the well-being of pets and strengthen our brand in the market.
What You'll Do
- Manage a customer base of veterinary clinics to build sales, volume, and market share.
- Ensure excellent execution of sales strategies to drive growth and brand recommendations.
- Promote and merchandise Hill's products and services, implementing the Perfect Clinic program where applicable.
- Educate customers through presentations and in-clinic seminars on the value of Hill's products.
- Drive endorsement of our products to enhance pets' well-being.
- Develop creative strategies and plans based on customer analysis.
- Utilize Hill’s programs to improve product awareness and drive sales.
- Lead new product launches and increase in-store presence for all products.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven selling skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate.
- Excellent time management and planning abilities.
- Desire to grow a territory and a love for pets.
- Good analytical skills and understanding of business concepts.
- Professional appearance and high integrity.
Nice to Have
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
- 2+ years of sales experience or veterinary hospital experience.
- Recent commercial internship experience.
- Sales experience in Animal Health.
- Certified Veterinary Technician (NAVTA).
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
What We Offer
Compensation: Salary Range $72,000.00 - $92,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for bonuses and profit-sharing.
Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching. You will receive a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days and 13 paid holidays. Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with local laws.
