Join Our Team as VP, FP&A
1Password is looking for a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to work closely with our CFO and the Executive Leadership Team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring our growth continues as we prepare for the future.
About the Role
This is not a typical FP&A position. You will lead enterprise planning, long-range forecasting, performance management, and financial execution. Your work will help elevate our executive storytelling and strengthen accountability across the organization.
What You'll Do
- B2B Enterprise Planning and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual operating plan, long-range plan, and rolling forecast processes.
- Own financial models and scenario analyses to clarify trade-offs and capital allocation.
- Drive forecasting accuracy by collaborating with functional leaders.
- Establish accountability around headcount planning and expense management.
- Financial Rigor and Enterprise Discipline:
- Strengthen expense governance and financial controls for a global SaaS business.
- Build scalable processes that support sustainable growth.
- Ensure financial outcomes are clearly communicated across the organization.
- Executive and Board Partnership:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team.
- Elevate Board materials, translating financial performance into strategic insights.
- Contribute proactively in executive discussions, challenging assumptions when necessary.
- Cross Functional Business Leadership:
- Partner with Product, R&D, GTM, and G&A leaders to drive performance.
- Act as a stabilizing presence during peak planning cycles.
- AI, Benchmarking, and Performance Insight:
- Lead Finance’s AI strategy to improve forecasting and decision support.
- Evaluate how automation and AI can increase productivity.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A organization.
- Foster engagement and career development within the team.
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of finance leadership experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
- Experience scaling from hundreds of millions in revenue.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, including ARR and margin drivers.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex financial concepts.
- Proven ability to manage expenses and capital allocation.
- Collaborative leadership style with a growth mindset.
- Experience leading and developing senior finance leaders.
- Fluency with enterprise planning tools like Anaplan.
- Experience with AI applications in finance.
What We Offer
USA-based roles: The annual base salary for this role is between $238,000 USD and $381,000 USD, plus benefits including health, dental, 401k, paid time off, an equity grant, and participation in incentive programs.
Canada-based roles: The annual base salary for this role is between $208,000 CAD and $333,000 CAD, plus benefits including health, dental, RRSP, paid time off, an equity grant, and participation in incentive programs.
