Join Cielo as an Accounting Analyst and take charge of maintaining accurate accounting records for our LATAM entities. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely financial statement closures and supporting various monthly activities.

About the Role

The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the financial records of Cielo's entities in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. This role involves coordinating with our third-party accounting firm and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.

What You'll Do

• Assist with month-end close, including preparation of journal entries.
• Reconcile bank account activity on a monthly basis.
• Post monthly prepaid asset journals and accruals as needed.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and record intercompany debit and credit notes.
• Reconcile trial balance to local books.
• Reconcile monthly tax reports to the ledger for submission to government entities.
• Maintain the fixed assets register.
• Assist with recording accounts receivable payments and collections.
• Support financial statement audits as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting multiple LATAM countries (ideally Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil).
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite (Oracle PBCS is a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good understanding of Local GAAP for each LATAM entity assigned.
• Experience in a service company, preferably in employment staffing or recruiting.
• Strong ability to collaborate with local business leaders.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Nice to Have

• Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
