Business Development Representative, Dutch Speaking

Join GitLab as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a key role in our Sales team. In this remote position, you will focus on engaging with potential clients and generating qualified meetings. Your work will help introduce GitLab's value to a diverse range of businesses.

About the Role

This position is fully remote and can be based in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, or Ireland. As a BDR, you will lead outreach to targeted accounts, collaborating with various teams to drive sales opportunities. We provide extensive training to equip you with the knowledge needed to succeed in this role.

What You'll Do

  • Execute outbound prospecting initiatives to generate qualified meetings and pipeline in your assigned territory.
  • Conduct discovery conversations with target accounts to understand their needs and qualify opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly BDR-sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) targets.
  • Research and prioritize target accounts, identifying key players and developing outreach strategies.
  • Utilize a multi-touch outreach approach (calls, emails, social media) to engage prospects.
  • Manage and report all prospecting activities in Salesforce for performance visibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to build targeted account lists and campaigns.
  • Document and improve BDR processes and mentor new hires to help them ramp up quickly.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluency in Dutch is required.
  • Positive phone skills, excellent listening, and strong writing abilities.
  • Ability to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Experience in taking initiative and driving projects to successful outcomes.
  • Understanding of business processes and organizational structures.
  • Persistence in pursuing goals and learning from setbacks.
  • Interest in being part of GitLab's journey.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Previous experience in the tech industry or sales development is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
