Business Development Representative

Join Postscript as a Business Development Representative and play a key role in helping ecommerce brands grow through SMS marketing. You will connect with potential customers and help them see the value of our platform.

About the Role

This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in North America. As a BDR, you will identify and engage ecommerce businesses that can benefit from our services. Your efforts will help drive the success of our company.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and qualify ecommerce brands that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Consistently meet and exceed targets for generating new business opportunities.
  • Use various tools to research and connect with potential customers.
  • Represent Postscript professionally, clearly explaining how we can help businesses succeed.
  • Maintain high standards for timely follow-up with prospects.
  • Manage your activities and pipeline in Salesforce CRM, keeping sales data updated.
  • Build relationships with prospective customers to set the stage for their success.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to nurture early-stage opportunities.
  • Learn about our customers' marketing strategies and business goals.
  • Work with the Go-to-Market team to improve our sales process.
  • Use AI tools for personalized outreach and automate administrative tasks to focus on strategic engagement.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of B2B sales development experience, ideally in SaaS or marketing technology.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, or Gong.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and connect with people.
  • Attention to detail and an organized, solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and think strategically about business engagement.
  • Desire to learn how to create value for customers and understand their goals.
  • Motivation to meet and exceed expectations, with a genuine interest in sales.
  • Basic understanding of ecommerce is a plus.
