Now let’s talk about you.As the CMO at Loka, I’m looking for a Temporary Events Coordinator to step in during a maternity leave and help keep this engine running smoothly. This role is fully focused on events, end to end. From kickoff to follow-up. From booking venues and managing vendors to coordinating internal teams, purchasing swag, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.I’m looking for someone who is passionate about organization, thrives in motion, and is a world-class communicator. The kind of person who can confidently manage multiple events at once while keeping both internal and external partners aligned, informed, and energized.This is a 1 year role designed to cover a critical period for our events program. If you’re nodding along enthusiastically, submit a resume so we can meet 🚀ResponsibilitiesEvents Strategy & ExecutionWork with CMO and independently to plan, coordinate, and execute Loka-hosted and partner-led events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person)Own event logistics end-to-end: timelines, vendors, venues, travel, materials, run-of-show, and follow-upsPartner closely with AWS stakeholders, internal sales, and marketing teams to ensure events align with GTM prioritiesSupport executive-level events, including private dinners, roundtables, and invite-only experiencesOperations & CoordinationManage the events calendar and keep timelines, owners, and dependencies clearly trackedTrack event costs and work closely with finance to ensure event success and ROICoordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, leadership) and AWS to ensure events are well-supported and on-brandMaintain clean documentation, checklists, and post-event recaps to ensure continuity during the maternity coverTrack event performance and outcomes (attendance, leads, follow-ups) and share clear summaries with stakeholdersRegional & Internal EventsSupport internal team events and offsites as neededCoordinate with regional partners and vendors across Europe and the U.S.What We’re Looking For3–5 years of experience in event coordination, field marketing, or marketing operations4 hour overlap with PST time zone at least 3 days a weekProven ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously without details slippingStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsComfort working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and executivesExperience working with tools like Notion, Google Sheets, HubSpot, or similarExperience with B2B, SaaS, or partner-led events (especially with large ecosystems like AWS) is a strong plusWhat This Role Is (and Isn’t)Is: A hands-on, execution-focused events role with real ownershipIs: A critical role during a key transition periodIsn’t: A generalist marketing role or content-focused positionIsn’t: Guaranteed to convert to a permanent role, though strong performance may lead to full-time roleBenefitsEvery other Friday off (26 extra days off a year)Remote-first culturePaid sick days and local holidaysBusiness English classes programContinuous Learning SupportFitness and/or Mental Health SubscriptionsAccess to LokaLabs™, our internal research and development programPlease submit your CV in English.
