Join Binance as a Financial Accountant on a 12-month contract. In this role, you will manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support various finance initiatives. You will play a key part in our finance team while gaining valuable experience in the blockchain ecosystem.

About the Role

This position is based in Asia, specifically in Hong Kong or Taiwan, with the option to work remotely. As a Financial Accountant, you will maintain financial accuracy and support our financial reporting processes.

What You'll Do

• Maintain the general ledger and complete month-end close activities, including preparing and posting manual journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances promptly.
• Generate internal management reports and monthly financial reporting packages for review.
• Assist in preparing statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with tax advisors on corporate income tax returns and other compliance matters.
• Support process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives, including automation of manual processes.
• Help stabilize legacy accounting processes, ensuring proper documentation and controls are in place.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements, maintaining proper documentation and controls.
• Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives as assigned by the Financial Controller.

What We're Looking For

• Chartered accountant experience - CPA / CA / ACCA is a MUST.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting and finance sector.
• Experience in tech or multinational companies dealing with full P&L is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with NetSuite accounting systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

Experience with process improvements and automation in finance would be beneficial.
