Join Us as a GTM Planning & Operations Analyst

At GitLab, we are looking for a GTM Planning & Operations Analyst. In this role, you will support our go-to-market planning, target setting, and compensation design. You will use your expertise in data and sales strategy to help us grow our revenue.

About the Role

As a GTM Planning & Operations Analyst, you will take charge of quota and target planning. You will work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to ensure alignment and drive our go-to-market strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Drive quota planning in the annual Go-To-Market planning process for the CRO organization.
  • Collaborate with Sales Finance and Field Operations to design quota and compensation plans for various roles in the CRO organization.
  • Maintain and iterate on the Field Planning & Bottoms-up Quota Capacity Models to enhance GTM efficiency.
  • Deliver performance analytics to improve compensation model design and effectiveness.
  • Monitor quota attainment trends and provide operational support throughout the year.
  • Own reporting on key People Performance data points in the CRO organization.
  • Provide insights on the effectiveness of Go-To-Market planning initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in consulting, revenue operations, or finance, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a drive for high-value insights.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Xactly, Tableau, and G Suite.
  • Intermediate SQL proficiency preferred for working with Snowflake and complex data models.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across functional areas.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.

About the Team

The Go-To-Market Planning and Operations team is part of GitLab's Revenue Strategy & Operations organization. We focus on turning sales and go-to-market data into actionable insights. Our team collaborates with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and other Revenue Operations members to understand pipeline health and quota performance. We work asynchronously across time zones, using GitLab and our data stack to maintain transparency and share context.

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $75,600 to $162,000 USD. This range reflects the role's base salary rate in various US locations. It does not include bonuses, equity, or benefits. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.
