HR Experience Specialist | LATAM
Join Deel as an HR Experience Specialist for the LATAM region. In this role, you will ensure compliance and manage HR operations while supporting our Employee of Records (EORs). You'll play a key part in shaping the HR experience for our global teams.
About the Role
As an HR Experience Specialist, you will oversee HR operations in your assigned country. You will manage leave requests, support EORs, and ensure compliance with local employment laws. Your expertise will help us maintain high-quality HR services across the LATAM region.
What You'll Do
- Ensure compliance and maintain HR operations in your assigned country, following relevant employment laws and operational rules.
- Manage leave requests and process administrative tasks for EORs, including applications, HR letters, and enrollments.
- Audit and update internal and external HR-related knowledge in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Provide support to EORs and clients for HR-related questions through various communication channels.
- Manage standard onboarding and offboarding processes for EORs.
- Collaborate on HR project management, particularly for mass onboarding and offboarding initiatives.
- Ensure the quality of HR operations in your assigned countries.
- Act as the subject matter expert for operational quality and knowledge in your country.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Specialist or in similar roles managing the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and employment regulations in LATAM countries.
- Experience in international HR operations in the LATAM region, especially in Mexico, Colombia, or Argentina is a plus.
- Must be located in the LATAM region.
- HR qualifications or certifications are a valuable asset.
- Experience in start-up environments is highly valued.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex HR issues.
- Experience using tools like JIRA, Zendesk, or Slack is a plus.
