About the Role
At Mercury, we are transforming finance for startups with our user-friendly banking stack. As a Senior Recruiter, you will tackle complex searches and partner closely with our founders and executive hiring managers. Your work will help us attract top talent for leadership roles across the company.
What You'll Do
- Understand Mercury’s values, brand, products, and business model.
- Collaborate with founders and executive hiring managers to design interview panels and source strong candidates.
- Establish success metrics for our recruiting team and maintain a high hiring standard.
- Stay informed about fintech and banking trends, and understand the U.S. regulatory environment.
- Promote inclusive and diverse hiring practices across all Executive levels.
- Engage top talent through various channels and provide a positive candidate experience.
- Lead recruiting efforts as we expand our business and products.
- Analyze data to derive actionable insights and improve recruiting processes.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of full-cycle Executive recruiting experience; 7+ years in a related role.
- Experience recruiting for Director to C-Suite positions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence and partner with founders and Executive stakeholders.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills for both active and passive talent.
- Experience working with Board members and external executive search firms.
- Familiarity with broader People functions, such as HRBP and Compensation.
- Commitment to building diverse and high-performing teams.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A sense of urgency and ownership in your work.
- Experience with recruiting tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, or similar.
Nice to Have
- Experience with regulatory knowledge in the fintech space.
What We Offer
At Mercury, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are regularly updated based on industry data. For this role, the target new hire base salary ranges are:
- US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $163,000 - $203,800
- US employees outside of these areas: $146,700 - $183,400
