Product Designer (Contractor) at Orium

About the Role
As a Product Designer, you will report to the UX Lead and work with clients in LATAM, the US, or Canada. Your focus will be on creating and optimizing digital interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to design and optimize sites, components, and interfaces.
- Maintain and improve design systems while working with developers and designers.
- Conduct Design Quality Assurance (DQA) for visual and interaction design.
- Resolve design-related tickets and issues, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Create wireframes based on research insights and user needs.
- Use sketches and diagrams to communicate interaction models and experience architectures.
- Conduct usability testing and implement best practices.
- Facilitate design reviews, gather feedback, and drive approvals.
- Support the Product Strategy team in defining experience and product requirements.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in user experience design, with hands-on experience in website interfaces and design systems.
- A degree in a related field is preferred.
- A portfolio showcasing real-life projects, strong visual design skills, and responsive design.
- Proficiency in collaborative design and UI prototyping tools like Figma and Miro.
- Strong communication skills and comfort in sharing ideas and feedback.
- Experience with modern digital tools and a willingness to integrate AI solutions.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
Nice to Have
- Understanding of UX principles such as information architecture and usability.
- Agency experience and exposure to e-commerce projects.
- Conceptual knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS.
- Good understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines.
